Introducing the Zelophehad Project: Transforming Lives, One Home at a Time
Imagine a nationwide movement where compassionate women unite to make a lasting impact on the lives of homeless women and children. The Zelophehad Project is a visionary initiative inspired by the biblical tale of five sisters who challenged societal norms to secure land ownership. Just as these sisters defied expectations, our project empowers women from all corners of the nation to pull their resources and purchase homes for those in need.
The heart of the Zelophehad Project lies in establishing "H.E.R House"in various cities – an acronym for Healed, Establish, Restored. Each house becomes a haven for homeless women and children, offering not just shelter but a pathway to healing and restoration. But our vision doesn't stop there.
We envision "H.E.R Closet", a space within each house providing free clothing for women and children. As the project grows, we extend our support through "H.E.R Purse", offering financial assistance to those in need. Our goal is to expand these services to include men, fostering a holistic approach to community care.
What sets us apart? A unique funding model – a portion of the proceeds from our symbolic conference, “The Gathering of the Butterflies" will be used to assist the vision. The Gathering of the Butterflies started as a women’s conference and later grew to include men, with plans to include a youth session in the coming year. A portion from the proceeds of The Gathering of the Butterflies will be contributed to bring this transformative vision to life. Join us in creating a ripple effect of positive change as the Zelophehad Project blossoms into chapters across cities and states, symbolizing unity, empowerment, and a commitment to a brighter future for all. Together, we can turn compassion into tangible change. The planning for such a huge undertaking is vast and great, but we have already started. We have met with Nurse Practitioner, business owners in health care, and we are scheduled to meet with an African-American Female attorney to help guide and develop the business model. Join us with your prayers, financial investment and support as we model for the Kingdom of God, how unity among us can lead change and a positive impact for women, men and families.
